Dr. Imran Khan

Dr. Imran Khan is a Chronic pain physician at Chronic pain centre and also practices as Staff Anesthesiologist with Alberta Health Services at South Health Campus in Calgary. He has extensive international experience in anesthesia, perioperative medicine, intensive care and pain management, having trained and worked in Canada, the United Kingdom, India and Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Khan holds an MD in Anaesthesia, Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FRCA), Fellowship of the Faculty of Pain Medicine of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FFPMRCA), and the European Diploma in Pain Medicine (EDPM). He completed advanced pain medicine training in the United Kingdom, with experience in multidisciplinary pain assessment, ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve procedures, fluoroscopy-guided spinal interventions and comprehensive pain-management programs.

His clinical interests include regional anesthesia, ultrasound-guided nerve blocks, perioperative pain management and the multidisciplinary management of complex chronic pain. He is also actively interested in medical education, clinical audit, research and quality improvement .
